A Hornsby Heights & Crosslands loop walk

I enjoy putting together new bushwalks. There's an infinite number of variations to be had, after all. So why do the same old thing over and over?

Today I road-tested one that starts and ends in Hornsby Heights. It uses a couple of just-negotiable steep off-track bits to get down to, and up from, the Great North Walk, Berowra Creek, and the Lyrebird Gully Track.

A relic of the February floods, I guess.

My new creation seems to work well. And it's all rather scenic too.
