Not actually peak flowering season now, but it will look pretty good when it is!
Nothing to do with whaling, the activity. It's named after a former Mayor, whose surname was Whaling. But it's a great little park. Not so little at all, in fact.
There's an attached rose garden, plus a huge aquatic centre, undergoing a major transformation at the moment.
We'll be back again sometime, to monitor its progress.
Baulkham Hills turns out to be a fertile ground for delightful and well hidden parks. We visited Coolong Reserve the other day, or at least the top half of it. We'll check out the lower parts later this week.

It's going to go on for quite a while. The state recorded a record number of COVID cases today (all delta variant), and the newly invigorated vaccine rollout will still need few months to have any real impact.
